Cristle started her broadcasting career at KMVT in Twin Falls, Idaho where she currently works. There, she wears multiple hats in the newsroom as a reporter and weekend meteorologist. Her interest in weather sparked in the midst of pursuing her undergrad degree. That motivated her to graduate within 3 years with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from The Edward R. Murrow College of Communication at Washington State University. Her path eventually led her to move across the country to Starkville, Mississippi to study the weather.
Being born and raised on the Island of Hawai'i, Cristle has experienced a wide variety of cultures. Ever since she graduated high school, she has spent much of her time in the Pacific Northwest. She previously interned at KOIN 6 in Portland, Oregon, and WTOK News Channel 11 in Meridian, Mississippi.
Aside from spending lots of time creating weather graphics, Cristle has a passion for traveling and fitness. She loves the outdoors and embraces the challenge of hiking difficult trails in hopes to conquer the top of Mt. St. Helen's one day. In addition, she volunteers for race events to do her part in helping the community, as community service has been important to her since childhood.
